List of marine aquarium fish species - Marine aquarium fish species are much more difficult to deal with in the aquarium than freshwater varieties. Many species will be completely incompatible and, necessitate the careful selection of species when choosing which fish to include. Game fish - A Game fish is a fish that is pursued for sport, regardless of whether the fisherman ultimately eats the fish. Gamefish may be part of a commercial fishery, such as salmon. Live-bearing aquarium fish - Live-bearing aquarium fish, often simply called livebearers are fish that retain the eggs inside the body and give birth to live, free-swimming young. Because the newborn fish are relatively large, typically around 10 mm in length, they are easier to feed than newly hatched fry of egg-laying species such as characins and cichlids. Fish out of Water (game) - Fish out of Water is a fairly popular swimming pool game in the United States and other countries.
